Robyn Lipschutz, Helping Students Learn and Grow
For Robyn Lipschutz, who resides at the West Seamans Neck Road residence, no two days at her job as an After Care Counselor for preschoolers is ever the same.
At the Friedberg JCC’s After School program, located in the Reinhard Early Childhood Center in Bellmore, Robyn works diligently to ensure preschoolers are safe, taken care of, and, of course, well fed.
“They like the crackers.,” said Robyn. “We only have two different snacks every day, but they try to get me to give them more.”
Robyn truly enjoys her job. “They’re adorable,” Robyn said, adding that she appreciates being a positive presence in the preschooler’s lives.
Robyn watches students during recess, gym and art class.
“I like being with the kids and seeing them happy,” Robyn said.
Robyn brings with her a wealth of experience working with young children. Previously, Robyn work for sister agency, Brookville Center for Children’s Services at the Barbara C. Wilson Preschool.
When asked what inspired Robyn to work in childcare, she said that she takes after her mom.
“I take after my brother too, but that’s a whole other story,” Robyn laughed, adding that her brother loves sports. “So, I either wanted to do something with sports, or I wanted to take care of kids.”
Outside of work, Robyn enjoys spending time at home or with her boyfriend. When her parents are in town, Robyn always enjoys visiting them too.
This year, Robyn and her boyfriend went on a vacation to the Dollywood Parks & Resort in Tennessee.
“We had a fantastic time,” Robyn said. “I like to be happy and outside, just enjoying life.”
