Fun Times Continue at Camp Loyaltown Session 2
At Camp Loyaltown, no two days are ever the same. From morning to evening, campers and counselors can be found at almost every corner of our beautiful camp property in Hunter, New York. Campers are empowered to choose activities and explore interests that bring them joy.
Hot summer days are often spent in the adaptive pool, where campers and counselors can be found wading and making a splash. The Nature Barn is home to friendly farm animals who love receiving visits, and there is always a one-of-a-kind souvenir being created in arts & crafts.
Campers also enjoy quieter moments during movie nights and yoga sessions, offering a chance to unwind. And of course, no session is complete without the ever-popular Loyaltown’s Got Talent show and Hearts Day—a new tradition where campers exchange heartfelt cards of appreciation.
Session 2 Highlight: Independence Day
During Session 2, campers celebrated the Fourth of July with counselors who traveled from all around the world. The day began with a flag raising ceremony, where everyone learned about Independence Day and why we celebrate it every year. What followed was a day full of festivities, from a parade around the campgrounds, a patriotic craft session, and a Fourth of July party with music and dancing.
Each camper and counselor brings their unique personalities and talents that keep everyone coming back year after year. To celebrate individuality, everyone was provided with a white camp t-shirt to tie-dye. The colorful t-shirts send a message that we are unified as campers, and our differences make us strong and vibrant.
