Meet Seanie Duncan, DSP
“Small Acts of Kindness Can Have a Big Impact”
Meet Seanie Duncan, a Direct Support Professional (DSP) supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) at the Port Washington Boulevard residence.
Seanie began working as a DSP for Citizens Options Unlimited in December 2022. Previously, Seanie supported people as a home health aide, where she developed transferable skills that contributed to her success as a DSP.
“I love helping the people I support achieve their goals, gain independence, and feel proud of themselves,” said Seanie when asked about the part of her job she enjoys the most.
During her time here, Seanie said she’s learned the value of patience, compassion and teamwork.
“I’ve also discovered small acts of kindness can have a big impact on the people that we serve and their families,” said Seanie.
