Celebrating the Season at Ontario Avenue Barbeque
Firing up the grill, the housemates and staff at the Ontario Avenue residence in Plainview welcomed loved ones and staff for their annual tradition – the summer barbeque known as the Family Gathering.
Family members and friends of housemates Patrick Black, Robert Behrendt, Randy Cosby, John Volpe, Frank Billadello, and Richard Krinsky, arrived for the Family Gathering, ready to sit outside, catch up, and enjoy a delicious meal together in the backyard.
“This is a lot of fun for my brother, and he loves his hamburgers,” said Robert’s brother John Behrendt. “I see everyone every other week when I come to see my brother, so I know his housemates. They are all my friends. They are all wonderful.”
Robert has been at the Ontario Avenue residence since it opened 15 years ago, and John said he is very thankful that Robert is there.
In addition to spending quality time with one another, the party is an opportunity for the Ontario crew to show off the garden that they continue to plant and decorate
With a successful event behind them, the housemates and staff are now looking forward to planning their annual holiday party. Great job Ontario!
