Manhasset ICF Celebrates Success in Annual OPWDD Recertification Survey
The Manhasset Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and compassionate care in the annual recertification survey conducted by the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The survey, which took place over the last two days, highlighted the outstanding quality of the home and the dedication of its staff.
The surveyors commended the overall friendliness and communication within the team. The progress of people living in the home was a focal point of discussion, reflecting the significant impact of the staff’s dedication to the residents’ well-being.
The outstanding efforts of the home’s Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing services and supports was highlighted. Recognition was also directed to Shauna Thomas (House Manager), Matthew Lawrence, Cindy Oswald (QIDP), and the clinical team, including MaryGrace Faughnan, Doreen Varrichio, Jennifer Goot, Emelyn Valladares, BCBA, and Mical Boyd, BIS, for their work. The collective contributions of the entire Manhasset ICF team underscore the organization’s reputation for excellence in providing exceptional care and support for people with developmental disabilities throughout Nassau and Suffolk.
