In-Home Virtual Respite/Telehealth Via Zoom

A way to be connected to others, establish friendships through Zoom. Participants of Citizens’ Virtual Connections Respite have the opportunity to meet and discuss what they would like to do and create their own weekly schedule.

  • Each week, participants produce the Virtual Connections e-Newsletter where they recap the month’s activities, announcements, and each other’s accomplishments.
  • Every few months, participants host a Virtual Concert, where they perform a song and dance or act out a scene. Participants take turns holding various positions like Virtual Assistant, Host, Choreographer, Editor, and Designer.
  • Some other activities include Bingo, Music and Dance, World Travel, Affirmations, Meditation, Yoga, Escape Room Games, Name that Tune or Movie, Trivia, Strives for Empowerment, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
